| Mô tả công việc: | JOB OVERVIEW • Assist Talent and Development Manager to manage the hotel’s language training function, including designing, developing and implementing a comprehensive of qualified training solutions, testing system and establish a systemized training data and evaluation results. • The English teacher position impacts on the English communication improvement and development between Vietnamese employees and foreign guests, leaders and managers. As the result, the employee can be more effective and capable to deal with foreign guests, managers and employees. Besides, the teacher also contributes to other activities to ensure not only current employee performance capability but also future development. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist the Talent and Development Manager in analyzing language training needs of the hotel in general and individual departments, and develop strategies which address needs, presenting in the form of a Training Business Plan for the General Manager and Executive Committee for review • Assist the Talent and Development Manager in monitoring the progress of the Language Training Business Plan for each department to ensure that the training objectives are being achieved • Be familiar with the IHG HR and Training Standards, localizing where necessary • Design English training solutions tailored to the needs of operations and develop specific material suitable to the job requirements of employees at the hotel • Manage the implementation of English classrooms for hotel: planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and different levels, setting tests, examination papers, and exercises; marking and providing appropriate feedback on participant progress • Be in charge of English test (entrance test for newcomers and monthly / quarterly test for current employees) • Come to department to do on the job training when necessary • Proactively initiate different activities besides the class to activate language communication development that contribute to enhance the level of English for employee • Provide individualized tutorial/remedial instructions and periodically observe, evaluate employees' progress in English studying and application to workplace • Provide input and feedback of the English level of employee to Talent and Development team and HR department contributing to have an overall employee profile of performance and potentiality • Use IHG benchmarks to monitor success of training programs and amend efforts accordingly. Eg: Heart Beat, Trip Advisor, social medial tools, achievement of budget, etc. • Establish a English training library of books, videos, journals and audio visual materials online learning solutions to assist learners in their training programs and for staff personal development • Maintain all English training records, both hard copies and soft copies (through the Cadena system) • Liaise with educational institutions conducting English hospitality training courses • Maintain current information and records of suppliers of training resources and materials • Assist translation when required • Provide other supports as required to the team in preparing conducting employee skills training, Performance Management, Employee Survey, HR activities… |
