The Role As a Mid/Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll design, build, and deliver the features that make employment easier for millions. From our AI-powered hiring tools to our automated payroll engine, every product you touch will directly improve how businesses hire, pay, and empower their teams. In this role, you will: Build and deliver impactful, high-quality features end-to-end. Collaborate with global product managers, designers, and engineers to turn ideas into elegant solutions. Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code - our core stack is Ruby, and we’ll support you to master it. Conduct reviews, improve performance, and uphold engineering best practices. Mentor and support junior engineers, helping them grow in both skill and confidence. Continuously raise the bar for quality, scalability, and innovation. |
